NKSD is a professional American Sign Language interpreting agency that has served the region for more than 26 years. Our History
Founded in 1999, NKSD was established to support communication access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals across the region. Over the years, NKSD has grown alongside the communities it serves, adapting to changing needs while maintaining a commitment to professional standards and ethical practice.
How We Work
NKSD serves as a coordinating company, working with qualified, licensed, and certified interpreters. Requests are reviewed individually, details are confirmed in advance, and interpreter coverage is scheduled based on availability and appropriateness for the setting. Clear communication and reliability are prioritized throughout the process.
